 I've changed the printer connection to Ethernet, and don't have the 
 capacity to test this any longer.  I guess you can close it.
 
 Up through -current as of Feb 2008, this issue still existed.  It wasn't 
 100% repeatable, but "eventually" an attempt to print would cause a 
 reboot.  It very well may have been fixed after that, with some of the 
 USB changes.
