>Description:
Xedit, X' default editor, is not working in NetBSD for quite some time now. I
hoped with NetBSD 5 things will change, but they did not, so I am reporting it.
It does work on FreeBSD 6.x and Ubuntu 7.x and 8.x.

The problem is: Xedit does not accept a file path, neither for saving files nor
for loading them. There is a field where you have to put in the file with the
path, but unfortunately, it accepts no file, not even such that are already
created. I can neither load nor save files, which renders it unuseable.

As xedit is included by default, it would be nice to be able to use it.

Thank you in advance for your kind help with this.
>How-To-Repeat:
Try saving something in xedit. Or loading something in xedit.
>Fix:
Use vi?
