Hello,

I've found when ACPI is enabled and an re(4) has an associated
/etc/ifconfig.reX file, it fails to configure itself correctly during
the boot process.  The following message is continually printed on the
console:

re0: watchdog timeout
re0: reset never completed!

The workaround is to boot without any automatic configuration of the
card, then manually configure it afterward.  Alternately, booting
without enabling ACPI support also avoids the problem.  So it seems
there's an adverse interaction between automatic configuration and
ACPI.

dmesg details for the card are:
