>Description:
cpuctl mis-identifies Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo and Intel(R) Core(TM) Quad CPUs
as Intel Pentium III (Katmai). This is apparently because these new CPUs share
their family/model ID with the older ones. See also the following thread:
http://mail-index.netbsd.org/port-amd64/2008/11/24/msg000581.html
>How-To-Repeat:
Try 'cpuctl identify 0' on a Core 2 Duo machine.
>Fix:
One possibility would be to use the CPU brand string for identification.
Another option would be to simply report the family/model in cases of ambiguity.
