>Description:

`apropos 802.11' brings up every IEEE 802.11 wireless network
driver except an(4). `apropos wireless' brings up every IEEE
802.11 wireless network driver except ath(4). While `apropos
wireless 802.11' will bring them all up, it would be nice if
both `apropos wireless' and `apropos 802.11' did as well.

ieee80211(4) cross-references only three relevant drivers. It
would be nice to include a comprehensive list of the supported
drivers there, possibly with the name line of each man page.
Also, all of the IEEE 802.11 wireless network driver man pages
        should probably cross-reference ieee80211(4).

OpenBSD's IEEE 802.11 wireless network driver man pages
generally list relevant supported `ifconfig' commands in a
CONFIGURATION section and supported or tested hardware in a
HARDWARE section. This is very handy for quickly finding
supported features in particular drivers without requiring
scrutiny of the source. Some NetBSD man pages contain this
information, but it is not consitent across all the man pages.

>How-To-Repeat:
>Fix:

Patches coming, unless someone beats me to them. Of course,
for the lists of supported or tested hardware, I can't provide
missing information -- those who support or test the hardware
        will have to contribute.
