The latest R61 has an ALPS UltraNav (touchpoint and pad)
which is recognized by pms, but not with the synaptics
protocol, so while there is basic functionality, none of
the synaptics sysctls are available.
>How-To-Repeat:
Try it out. With SYNAPTICSDEBUG in the kernel, it produces:
pms0: synaptics_probe: Not synaptics.
>Fix:
None. Simply forcing the match to succeed results in
non-functioning UltraNav. There are some notes on this
