 Is your cabling ok? I see these messages from time to time, but
 they're caused (in my case) by running 100baseTX over a piece of
 pre-cat5 cable and not, I think, a driver bug.
 
 But then, every #$!4#@ tulip card is different...

 According to the PR database, a similar patch got applied right away,
 so this is probably not the issue.
