Installboot/sysinst and the bootloaders have changed a lot, and since I forgot
about that PR and can't test on the original setup any more, *and* have done
lots of similar installs since then, all of which worked w/o a problem,
we'll probably never find the cause of the original one time failure.
Let's assume some stupid pilot error.
