>Description:

When using GENERIC.MP on a Sun Ultra 20 M2, it virtually grinds luserland to a halt. Kernel behavior can still be observed; ddb also still respons properly. Everything in luserland (including init), however, executes extremely slowly, to the point of taking about 2 mins to update the MOTD, and about 30 secs to process a keystroke. It also takes ages to spawn a single-luser shell by way of -s, to the point that I've aborted the procedure through a cold boot process. GENERIC seems to work just fine.

Included is the only dmesg I can give you:

I'll try and build a custom MP kernel later and see if I can find what causes the problem.

>How-To-Repeat:
Dump the Slowaris crap from a Sun Ultra 20 M2 and install NetBSD-4.0_RC5/i386 with GENERIC.MP on it :)
>Fix:
No fix is currently known.
