 I wasn't able to reproduce this with 4.99.34 from early November
 source.  I managed to get the machine up to a load of almost 10 (9.92
 according to top), and it didn't wobble, nor did this glitch appear.
 So we should be safe to close this, if I see it again, I'll resubmit
 this.
