 I was able to boot NetBSD 4.0 RC1 after disabling acpi on CD boot. I
 want to note that I installed the GENERIC kernel and booted with no
 problem (did NOT disable acpi). I then re-installed with the
 GENERIC_LAPTOP kernel and booted with no problem as well (did NOT
 disable acpi). This shows that the installed ACPI kernels work, but
 the CD kernel does not.
