There is a strong possibility that I was on 1.108, as I did update
 yesterday.
I have abandoned following -current for now, and just
went sticky netbsd-4, to attempt to achieve some degree
of stability. I am really just trying to get pkgsrc/net/wireshark
to compile, and when that proved resistant, decided to cvs update
the system prior to trying to debug it. Mistake.

 I consider this closed.

 Thanks.
