System: NetBSD taiyang 3.1 NetBSD 3.1 (GENERIC) #0: Tue Oct 31 08:59:48 UTC 2006 builds@b3.netbsd.org:/home/builds/ab/netbsd-3-1-RELEASE/sparc/200610302053Z-obj/home/builds/ab/netbsd-3-1-RELEASE/src/sys/arch/sparc/compile/GENERIC sparc
Architecture: sparc
Machine: sparc
>Description:
FFSv2 is an installation option, but there is no indication that sparc's
boot loader doesn't support booting from an FFSv2 root file system.
On startup, the boot loader can't find the kernel.
>How-To-Repeat:
Install, choosing FFSv2 as root file system
>Fix:
Workaround: reinstall using FFSv1 as root file system.
Suggested: include this in the install documentation or sysinstall. Also,
file should be able to detect FFSv2 partitions (add information to magic).
