 Because I didn't think it would be helpful to withhold information.
 
 I had already described the situation on port-sparc.
 
 You should have realized that this kind of bug cannot possibly have
 anything to do with what OS hosts the framebuffer driver which itself
 hasn't changed in any functional way since many releases ago.
