that was directed at me.

I connect from a Mac OS X xterm.

I thought it is a netbsd issue because I've only observed a
problem connecting to netbsd/sshd/pkgsrc/screen on amd64, there
is no issue connecting to netbsd/sshd/pkgsrc/screen on i386 -- I
assumed it was the netbsd host causing the problem.

In any event, the support in this PR has been very informative,
I very much appreciate it, thank you. I'll try connecting from
a release, patched and/or current tag netbsd xterm, at my next
opportunity, which will be Sunday. Maybe I won't be able to
reproduce it that way.

While I see the logic that the client xterm/termcap is very
important, I cannot make any sense as to why my amd64 host
is having problems while the i386 does not. If anyone could
elucidate that, I am very curious.
