 Strange. Ok, next thing is to use our regression tests on linux and
 see if we can reproduce the problem. If you put #ifdef __RCSID
 around RCSID and compile the ptmx.c code in /usr/src/regress/lib/libc/pty
 on linux using gcc -static ptmx.c -o ptmx and then copying and running
 this on NetBSD what do you get?
