I ran into the issue that this PR describes with a filtering router.
It has 8 vlans running over a wm interface, which is a 64 Bit PCI
card in a 32 Bit PCI board.

When occasionally traffic got too much, the clients with nfs mounted
home directories experienced freezes of half a minute or more. I
applied the patch listed in the PR and committed to -current, and it
 saved my day.

Bottom line: Can somebody please pull up this patch to the netbsd-3
 and netbsd-2 branches?

 Thanks,
 	hauke
