>Description:
The output of a *roff file that contains "e. g." or "i. e."-like
abbreviations on a fixed-width font device looks better without
a blank. Some years ago I submitted a set of patches that fixed
all these abbreviations in the NetBSD manual pages.

In fact, only one of these abbreviations with a blank in the middle
remain in the NetBSD manual pages. The patch attached to this
problem report should fix the one that remains in the most updated
version of mtree(8). I understand that it is a minor fix, but
aesthetical patches are applied to the operating system source too.
