 I do not have any sparc machine with working floppy drive though, so I
 can't test the install from this floppy.
 
 You (or your helpfull browser/ftp client) did not, by chance, decompress
 the file before writing it to disk? The "disk2" is linked to
 
    ../bootfs/instfs.tgz
 
 and it needs to be written to disk in this compressed form. Decompressing
 it (with gunzip) would yield a .tar file too big for a floppy.
