Mobo=Asus K8S-MX with AMD64, SiS SATA 965 . Also, the integ eth, SiS 190, was not detected. I had same prob with FreeBSD, Debian Gnu/Linux, Fedora C4. I am newbie, so do not know how to compile the modules etc to get a driver diskette--just want to use some EM simulation pakages that are dist in Linux and Unix.

Hi,
you should probably try something newer than 2.0.2 on this system, the SIS
parts should be recognised in 3.0_BETA, and maybe in 2.0_STABLE too.
You can get 3.0_BETA from ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD-daily/netbsd-3/
and 2.0_STABLE from ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD-daily/netbsd-2/
