>Description:
Boot the machine with the NetBSD i386 2.0.2 floppy boot1.fs image or the ISO CDROM image results in the video going dead (monitor shuts down) and the machine rebooting after about 15 seconds.

The PC motherboard is a VIA EPIA-M Mini-ITX board with the lastest BIOS ver 1.16. The BIOS setting are sane, and Linux RedHat FC4 and OpenBSD 3.7 boot and install without a problem.

The 1.6.2 boot1.fs works and a partial install results in a working boot loader on the disk how-ever the install fails as expected when installing the 2.0.2 packages. This boot loader is labelled BIOS BOOT version 2.13.

This is enough to have the 1.6.2 boot loader which is now on disk get the NetBSD 2.0.2 boot1.fs to run allowing 2.0.2 to be installed. The installed version does not boot due to the problems with the 2.0.2 boot loader how-ever running the 1.6.2 install floppy then booting from the hard disk works (boot hd0a:netbsd).

It would be nice to have the machine boot from a hard disk. I tried to installboot the 1.6.2 biosboot.sym file from the hard disk on 2.0.2 but the first stage loader failed with a message about incorrect file format.

A working 2.0.2+ install would be nice or a way to have the 1.6.2 installer work from disk. I am new to NetBSD so please be gentle.

>How-To-Repeat:
Install with i386 2.0.2 boot1.fs from a floppy disk, the i386 2.0.2 CDROM ISO image or the hard disk once installed.
