On a -current system (updated a few hours ago) running su (with all default PAM 
configuration) gives these warnings on the console:

Aug 10 07:46:27 setting-sun su: in openpam_dynamic(): pam_group.so: pam_sm_acct_mgmt(): Undefined symbol "pam_sm_acct_mgmt"
Aug 10 07:46:27 setting-sun su: in openpam_dynamic(): pam_group.so: pam_sm_open_session(): Undefined symbol "pam_sm_open_session"
Aug 10 07:46:27 setting-sun su: in openpam_dynamic(): pam_group.so: pam_sm_close_session(): Undefined symbol "pam_sm_close_session"
