When reviewing patches in my local 2.0 tree, I was reminded of this open 
pr. As noted in the PR, rev  1.231 of sys/kern/vfs_subr.c fixes the 
lock-up. I have been running with that rev for more than 5 months. Can 
someone please request a pull-up to the netbsd-2 branch and close the pr?
