>Description:
The wi manpage lists D-Link DWL-650 PCMCIA wlan cards as supported but fails to point out, that only specific revisions work, and especially that Rev. P cards are unsupported ( using the same name for different products seems to be very popular among wlan vendors. The Rev.P is PRISM3 card, there's at least one other revision that doesn't even use an Intersil chip ).
No idea if that's relevant, but on my card the serial number ( sticker on the underside ) ends in 'V.P1'.
>How-To-Repeat:
Get a DWL-650, if you're unlucky it's an unsupported revision. Extremely annoying when you relied on the wi manpage to pick a supported card.
>Fix:
Kick Intersil to release PRISM3 docs ;)
