	My firefox-gtk2-linux freezes the whole system when I try to access a SMBFS mounted filesystem. It bugs the same way with openoffice-linux, so I guess it's more linux/emulation problem. There is no problem when the FS is mounted with sharity-light.
>How-To-Repeat:
	mount the FS (//who@what /where smbfs rw,-f=0644,-d=0755,-u=jcarnat,-g=users,noauto 0 0)
	start firefox-gtk2-linux/openoffice-linux
	browse to /where
