If, under 2.0, you use the same script as under 1.6.2 (i.e., _without_ -s,
but with -A, -S and -o), how long does it take?

ksyms was not designed with speed in mind.  I guess your modules contain
a lot of symbols.  How much information can you give me about the symbol
tables of those modules?
