System: NetBSD miyu 2.0_BETA NetBSD 2.0_BETA (MIYU) #15: Tue Aug 17 02:17:44 MEST 2004 feyrer@miyu:/home/cvs/src-2.0/sys/arch/i386/compile/obj.i386/MIYU i386
Architecture: i386
Machine: i386
>Description:
	the ath sysctls aren't documented. I'd expect them to be
	listed and explained in the ath.4 manpage:

	pc9649% sysctl -d hw.ath
	hw.ath.dwell: Channel dwell time (ms) for AP/station scanning
	hw.ath.calibrate: Chip calibration interval (secs)
	hw.ath.outdoor: Enable/disable outdoor operation
	hw.ath.countrycode: Country code
	hw.ath.regdomain: Regulatory domain
	hw.ath.debug: Enable/disable ath debugging output

	Also, items lacking documentation on the driver:
	 * enabling tx-burst
	 * enabling hardware-compression
	 * setting tx-power
	 * connection between country-code and regdomain, and
	   where to take numbers for CC from (once it's setable...).
	   The Unicode UN Numeric-3 numbers seem to be useful there:
	   http://www.unicode.org/onlinedat/countries.html

>How-To-Repeat:
	Plug an ath card into a machine, and try to get it going.
	Wonder how to change things like countrycode.

>Fix:
	At least mention the sysctls in the manpage.
