>Environment:
NetBSD testnat 2.0_BETA (GENERIC) #0: Mon Aug 16 05:09:54 UTC 2004 autobuild@tgm.netbsd.org/autobuild/netbsd-2-0/i386/OBJ/autobuild/netbsd-2-0/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/GENERIC i386
>Description:
This is very similar to Problem Report #25223. A few weeks ago most FTP traffic would cause the kernel to dump. With the new build I'm using, ftp no longer dumps the kernel, but still hangs the session.
>How-To-Repeat:
I used VMWare and had 1 NetBSD 2.0_BETA machine and one Knoppix image going. The Knoppix machine would set it's default gateway to be the NetBSD machine which is setup for natting.

The FTP sites that seemed to trigger the problem were ftp.iso.pld-linux.org (shows the welcome then connect is dumped) and ftp.netbsd.org (gets to the first bit of the welcome message and hangs).

Very easy to reproduce.
>Fix:
Not sure, but I'm willing to test anything to get this resolved.
