	After upgrade from vxWorks v.12.04 firmware in our Cisco
	AP-350s to version 12.2(15)JA, neither NetBSD nor Linux on IBM
	laptops with built-in atheros wireless network cards manage to
	establish an association with any of our access points.

	Our local wirless person tells me that from sniffing the
	wireless traffic, the sequence of events goes something like
	this:

	1) the client sends a broadcast for base stations (with the
	   correct SSID)
	2) the client receives answers from various base stations
	3) the client appears to not be content with any of the replies,
	   and goes back to 1), instead of associating with one of the
	   base stations

	The particular SSID is not broadcast by the access points, and
	we are using 40/64 bit WEP.

	"Of course", the Windows atheros driver still works.
	Therefore, this smells like a bug in the atheros driver in
	NetBSD (and Linux).

	I've already been in touch with David Young, and he asked that
	I turn on "options IEEE80211_DEBUG" and do 'sysctl -w
	net.link.ieee80211.debug=1' before ifconfig.  I did the first
	part, but since this is 2.0_BETA, the sysctl was
	net.hw.atheros.debug (sp?), which I set.  The complete boot
	log and debug output from an attempt with approximately

	ifconfig ath0 nwid XXXX nwkey xxxx up; sleep 5; ifconfig ath0 down
