NetBSD webster 1.6.2_STABLE NetBSD 1.6.2_STABLE (WEBSTER) #1: Wed Apr 28 18:20:03 CEST 2004 krille@webster:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/WEBSTER i386
>Description:
When doing a reboot dmesg shows data from the previous run in the first half of the buffer.

It isn't needed to change the kernel to make this effect happen, but it makes the origin of the old messages clear.

This is the first machine where I notice this strange issue. It does not happen on cold boot.

dmesg follows. The upper part is a leftover from the old kernel without audio and cardbus support. The lower part is from the new kernel with added audio and cardbus support.
