I have classed this as a software bug because it would be more
consistent to change the implementation so it matches other similar
toolchain constructs for things that do .<fn>.

Setting FILESDIR.<fn> does not work as documented in bsd.README.
Instead FILESDIR_<fn> does what the above is supposed to.

It should be FILESDIR.<fn>
		     ^ with the full-stop / period / dot

Note: I'm not sure if it's used anywhere in-tree there may be fallout.
