>Description:

Sympa does not work at all if you use PostgreSQL as the database.
This is because the current pkgsrc version of PostgreSQL has schema
support, and the current pkgsrc version of DBD-Pg returns the schema
names in the tables list, but sympa doesn't understand the schema
names, thinks that its tables are not present, and thus the various
    programs refuse to start.

Note that using a database is not optional with sympa; it's required.

>How-To-Repeat:

Install mail/sympa and databases/postgresql. Configure sympa to use the
Pg DBD driver ("db_type Pg" in the config file) and create the database
schema. Note that none of the sympa programs can start because they
believe that their tables do not exist in the database.

>Fix:

    Upgrade sympa to version 3.4.4.3.
