indeed. this is why i leave my camera in utc and then it's "just
right". besides, that also makes it much easier to calculate the time
a picture was taken when time zone shifts are involved.
at one point, i left my camera on US/Eastern, but then i went to spain
and portugal. at the same time that continental europe (some of it)
shifted to daylight savings time. other parts of continental europe
shifted the next weekend or something. so i need to add four, no
five, and then subtract...one...but not for that picture...
bleah.
just leave the camera in utc.
