	The lang/gcc package fails to build under NetBSD 1.5.3.  At some
	point it tries to link against the gcc_pic library, which is not
	present in the system.

	Having lang/gcc broken means that any package depending on it for
	its build will be broken too...

	Sorry, I'm not able to take a log of the failed build any more...
	My 1.5.3 chroot stopped working under current after 1.6Z, even
	with COMPAT_16 and COMPAT_15.
