	Same.
	Same behaviour after replacing the file 'jpegsrc.v6b.tar.gz' from
	various sources.
	During 'make NO_CHECKSUM=yes', an unexpected EOF of 'jpegsrc.v6b.tar.gz'
	occurs.
	My 'pkgsrc' tree is up to date.
	BTW :  'ftp.uu.net' dont't download the file and is hanging, so 
	the file must be fetched from other servers.

	Perhaps specify an other ftp server for 'jpegsrc.v6b.tar.gz' and
	verify/fix the checksum of 'jpegsrc.v6b.tar.gz' in 'pkgsrc' ?
