I've tried this, and it doesn't work for me - I tried building the whole
kernel with -O and just the ahc-specific source. I'm going to try with
gcc3, but I'm not expecting that to make any difference.
Would it be worth upgrading the BIOS on the SCSI card? It's got a pretty
old version on it at the moment.
