To followup: adding #include <stdlib.h> under #include <stdio.h> in
xf86test.c fixed it; builds and appears to work fine. I suggest this change
be made in one of the patches; I did it by hand, but I can send in a proper
patches/patch-whatever file if desired by the PR recipients.
