	hmm.

	i experience the same behavior with USB charging/sync cable as well:
	http://store.palm.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1230125&cp=1214570

	USB cable from belkin corporation can only charge the battery, no
	hotsync is possible.

	RS232C cable works fine.

	(so I now have 4 cables...)
