NetBSD hostname 1.6.1 NetBSD 1.6.1 (HOSTNAME) #2: Fri May 2 11:00:04 EDT 2003 cjg9411@hostname:/usr/src/sys/arch/pmax/compile/HOSTNAME pmax
>Description:
When running any of the available versions of lmutil or lmhostid from Globetrotter Software, Inc., the hostid is always returned as "000000000000". The hostid should merely be the MAC address of the network card. The program is compiled for Ultrix, but runs perfectly fine otherwise.
>How-To-Repeat:
>Fix:
Somehow? create a device that the flexlm tool looks at that looked like the ethernet device back in Ultrix land. That way it would properly obtain a hostid/MAC address.
