All I did was download the wApua tarballs for 1,6/i386 and all the pkgs that it needs to run.
Then I did a pkg_add wApua. No error messages. When I start wApua I get this:

root@dev% /usr/pkg/bin/wApua

Goto pkgsrc.org and download the 1.6/i386 tarball for wApua and all the p5 tarballs it requires to run.

pkg_add wApua and that's it.
