>Description:
i have a problem with wawelan pci-pcmcia converter under NetBSD 1.6.

this is a Lucent Tech. 015219 Rev.A (Model: PCIPC)

im compiled pcmcia and pcic into kernel, and at boot:

wi0 at pcmcia0 function 0: Lucent Technologies, WaveLAN/IEEE, Version 01.01
wi0:wi0: init failed
could not get mac address, attach failed
wi0: failed to attach controller

and of course i cant uset the wi0.

im plug a pcmcia modem into converter and its works:

wi0 detached
com3 at pcmcia0 function 0: serial device
com3: ns16550a, working fifo

from kernel conf:

# PCMCIA bus support
pcmcia* at pcic? controller ? socket ?
pcmcia* at tcic? controller ? socket ?

# PCI PCMCIA controllers
#pcic0 at pci? dev? function ?
pcic* at pci? dev? function ?

wi* at pcmcia? function ? # Lucent WaveLan IEEE (802.11)

dmesg | grep cbb
cbb0 at pci2 dev 1 function 0: Texas Instruments PCI1410 PCI-CardBus Bridge (rev. 0x01)
cbb0: interrupting at irq 5
cardslot0 at cbb0 slot 0 flags 0

dmesg | grep cardbus
cardbus0 at cardslot0: bus 3 device 0

dmesg | grep pcmcia
pcmcia0 at cardslot0
wi0 at pcmcia0 function 0: Lucent Technologies, WaveLAN/IEEE, Version 01.01

>How-To-Repeat:
if i plug the card to pci-cardbus
>Fix:
the same config works fine with OpenBSD 3.2 and FreeBSD 4.7 with GENERIC kernel
