The gdm pkg does not run anymore.
gdm_config_parse: Authdir /var/gnome/gdm does not exist. Aborting.
Indeed this directory does not exist, because it never used to exist and
the pkg didn't create it nor told me to create it myself.
I don't understand why, because
pkg_info -f gdm | fgrep gdm
EXEC 'install -d -o daemon -g daemon -m 750 /var/gnome/gdm'
UNEXEC '/bin/rm -rf /var/gnome/gdm'
On a site note: the rc.d script for gdm seems to be installed in
/usr/X11R6/etc/rc.d - it's the only file I have in there. It's a place I
never would have expected a rc.d script.
cd pkgsrc/x11/gdm && make update && echo "you loose"
