Noticed a while ago when surfing, there's a working IPv6 patch available for XMMS-1.2.7 at

http://www.version6.net/IPv6-patches/xmms-ipv6-20020408.patch

It is against the CVS version, which means you must rebuild configure script after applying, but that should not be too big
problem. Author is probably "cougar at random dot ee". You can
find more info from http://www.version6.net

I tested it and the music sounds much better in IPv6 :)
