>Description:
For the third time my server freezed today. When system freezes I can still
"ping" it and switch between virtual console. But everything else e.g.
remote connections, NFS access or local login is dead. I cannt even get
a new prompt from "getty" if I press <RETURN>.

I tried to take a dump but it didn't work probably because the default
dump partition is too small. I've setup a new, bigger dedicated dump
partition, activated it with "swapctl -D" and verified that it works
now. If the problem happens again I'll provide a dump.

>How-To-Repeat:
Cause heavy disk activity on a system used as CVS server, NFS server, packet
filter and PPPoE router.

>Fix:
None provided.
