>Description:
courier-authldap does not fail over to authpwd if you use authdaemond.ldap to authenticate. It's a simple matter of an explicit configure arg beging left out of the courier-auth/Makefile.common file.
>How-To-Repeat:
Use courier-authldap to authenticate with imap. I was expecting it to failover to authpwd to check for local (non-virtual) accounts, but the authpwd module is not built into authdaemond.ldap like it should be.
>Fix:
Add this to courier-authldap/Makefile.common:
CONFIGURE_ARGS+= --with-authpwd
and rebuild courier-authldap. This does not affect courier-auth, so no rebuild is necessary.
