	I have built kdebase-2.2.2 from pkgsrc twice; both times `make package'
	failed because two files - bzip.protocol and bzip2.protocol - hadn't
	been installed (even though bzip2-1.0.1 is installed)

	i'm guessing somehow the configure failed to find the libraries and
	so did not build the KDE protocols ... then it was somehow masked so
	the pkg *appeared* ok

	sorry if this is vague ...  i'll look into this deeper when i've got
	the rest of KDE rebuilt if you can't reproduce it
