System: Name: Raen
        Processor: 400Mhz celeron
        Memory: 128M
Disks Used: Western Digital 45G eide standalone or Maxtor 15G eide
standalone. (Both failed in pciide mode)

>Description:
Desc: Enabled pciide causes system to completely freeze (no ddb esc)
when dealing with high volume i/o under the system set described
below. The high volume i/o came from a transfer of 200 - 700 Megs
of mp3s at around 800/900 k/s. System would freeze in the 200 -
        700M range.
>How-To-Repeat:
Enable pciide in the kernel under a system with no bus support for udma when using disks that claim udma support ???

>Fix:
Disable pciide in the kernel.
