It prints a few, pauses for a while, prints a few, etc.  So, it is
a measured flood.

I haven't been able to reproduce it yet.  I am really quite unsure
of what I could've been doing to cause it, the system was basically
just sitting there.  I'll try to do a `make build' and see if that
triggers it, but as it stands I am not sure why it happened.

I poked around in ddb, but didn't find anything that would narrow
it down.  Of course, I just had some further ideas of how to search
around in there, so if it happens again I will set some break points
and see where it is printing the messages from.
