System: NetBSD jerry 1.5.1 NetBSD 1.5.1 (JERRY) #2: Thu Aug 16 04:41:33 CST 2001 root@jerry:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/JERRY i386

>Description:
I have a problem trying to get a Banksia PCM288F PCMCIA modem working under NetBSD 1.5.1.

This modem works under Windows NT without a problem, it uses IRQ 3 with 0x2f8. I have tried changing the kernel configs to recognise this modem however it does not seem to work. I find it unusual that if the modem is plugged in I get the below message if I look in /var/run/dmesg.boot.

com3 at pcmcia1 function 0 port 0x2f8-0x2ff: serial device
com3: ns16550a, working fifo
boot device: wd0
root on wd0a dumps on wd0b
root file system type: ffs
pcmcia1: card irq 9
stray interrupt 9
pcmcia0: card irq 9

Please note the stray interrupt 9 message, I am unsure why this is happening, I would expect it to be interrupt 3?

If you have any advice on how to make this device work it would be appreciated.
