>Description:
Trying to install 1.5.1 release on an Asus CUV4X-E motherboard with Adaptec 29160 SCSI controller and 2 IBM DDYS-T18350N drives. Package installation halts with pax error "invalid compressed format (err=2)" message. Usually happens while extracting the comp.tgz pkg and requests a second volume of an archive. Tried slowing the transfer rate on SCSI card for each device to slower speed (160,80,40,20). This caused the error to occur at a different place in the extraction process. Install media is good - completed full install on an older machine.
>How-To-Repeat:
Try installing with Adaptec 29160 controller.
